Hezbollah said the attack on the "Meron" air control base damaged and destroyed a part of the electronic surveillance and espionage devices, according to the Arab media reported on Tuesday.
Hezbollah confirmed, in a brief statement, that the operation was in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as a response to the Israeli aggression against the Lebanese city of Baalbeck and its vicinity.
It added that the headquarters of the 146th Division in Jatoun was targeted with dozens of Grad rockets achieving impacts.
Also, a heavy rocket salvo was launched from Lebanon towards Western Israeli-occupied Al-Jalil in northern Palestine.
Zionist sources reported the attack and the sound of several explosions shortly after.
Hezbollah and the Israeli regime have been trading near daily cross-border fire since the Israeli bombardment of Gaza and the ground offensive began in October.
Hezbollah says its operations are meant to support Gaza’s resistance.
